Whale Watching

2 1/2 to 3-hour cruise into the open Pacific Ocean in search of amazing marine life including Gray Whales, Humpback Whales, Fin Whales, Minke Whales, Dolphins, Sea Lions, and much more! Our courteous, experienced crew and knowledgeable Aquarium of the Pacific marine mammal educators will take you on an exciting adventure to search for awe-inspiring marine life.

Typically June through October, the largest whales and animal in the world, the blue whale, is seen feeding off of the coast of LA on our 3-3.5 hour cruises. November through May, 2 to 2 ½ hour Gray Whale tours observe the annual migration past Southern California’s coastline as they travel from Alaska’s Bering and Chukchi Seas to Baja, Mexico.

Year-round Orcas, Humpback whales, Fin whales, Minke Whales also can be seen engaging activities such as lunge feeding, breaching, fluking and more! This fantastic adventure is exciting for all ages. Every trip includes a knowledgeable Aquarium of the Pacific marine mammal educator who will provide you with informative commentary and interesting facts about the marine life found off our coast.

Ambulatory requirements: Participants must be able to transfer to vessel (walk 10 steps up to and down from the seating area).

Advisories: All interior tours travel on steep, narrow, winding, bumpy, dusty, scenic, mountain roads. For safety, you should be in good health and free from high blood pressure, heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, or other conditions that could be aggravated by this adventure. Expectant mothers should not ride.

Children (3-11) and infants (0-2) must be accompanied by an adult.
Infants (2 and under) are required to have a ticket to ride boat tours; ticket fee will apply.
